I have been using it under turino, clawlock, stealth, krystal. I haven't had any issues with the CVs over coda. (I haven't used any CODA clear products, just the primer.)
My local sales rep and his product technical boss - don't know his actual title - but they have both informed me that I'm safe and have no need to worry about the CVs going over CODA primer.
I've been using this combination for just over a year so far and I really like the results I'm getting with it. The CODA primer sands incredibly smooth, much smoother than any primer I've ever used. I paint plenty of MDF CNC-machined cabinet doors and the fill from the CODA is impressive in the machined areas.
Pricing is like 10% more than what I pay for Clawlock I think? All I can remember is that it's marginally more expensive. Not a ton but still more expensive and my supplier is only able to get it to me in the 2.5 gal pales.
I shot a text message to my rep today about this new Kwik Claw Clawlock and he called me back to tell me that's the new product they are getting trained on today. I asked him to let me know what he thinks, says he's going to throw a sample free gallon my way to try.
He expects it to be thin and good for non-porous flat surfaces. I guess we'll see, unless someone reading this has any experience with it yet?
