Hey, im a cabinet making apprentice but our CNC operator has left without notice forcing me to try and learn our Biesse Rover S FT without proper training.
We make fitted furniture and luckily he made nearly every article I would need parametric before leaving so making kitchen programs in bNest and running them isn't an issue, however that's about the extent of my knowledge.
The current issues I'm facing the most and would love help in understanding are:
When routing out pieces from a sheet, my CNC board is also getting cut into, creating lots of dust and vacuum issues. Do I just have to raise my jig thickness manually even above my bed skim height?
Also, how do I go about editing the position of pieces on sheets after they have been nested, I have issues with there being small pieces that once routed out won't vacuum down and are very close to getting caught in the machine and damaging something, I watched our old operator edit the position of pieces in a sheet to minimize waste and small pieces, but I never learned how to do it.
If anyone could please help or point me in the right direction i'd appreciate it!
