Thanks Marek
It has been a pretty rough week but I am finally making progress.
Once finding out few things that really helped.
That on the line macro that the x and y are absolute and Z is always relative. There is not any absolute Z. Kind of crazy but, now that I know, I can work with it.
I also found you had to just draw a single arc with a radius to get Bsolid to generate the CIX that way. If you draw it in a connected polyline it generates it as a arc with 3 points.
All I got sent was a CIX command sheet.
It referenced pages that was not included.
I found it was referencing a Biesseworks manual. So I asked for one. The one I got the pages did not match the CIX command list pdf. I finally threw out the CIX command pdf and worked from the full manual.
Once I got a ticket going, Giacomo from Biesse Canada has been really helpful.
I had a much easier time learning writing Gcode from the old XNC manual. I don't remember ever having to ask for help.
I found that most of the lines in CIX generated by Bsolid are not needed, so the code is not nearly as verbose as it looked.
It's been a tough start, but I think I am ready to start changing my post from iso to CIX and take advantage of the optimized boring.
That will teach me not to skip a generation of Biesse software. I think they are under the impression that everyone has moved right along with them. :-)
