Becker vacuum problems

I run 2 Becker 2.250 vacumes on my CNC and one of them has gone down. Becker wants me to send them the entire pump... Does anyone know a west coast service person that can troubleshoot this vacuum?

what do you mean by went down? does it still run but no suction, or does not turn at all?

The veins seem to be in spec and the motor turns. But it will not start, it keeps blowing switches.

Check all three wires singly T1,T2,T3 (all three phases) to the ground wire. Readings should be infinite. If its zero or reads any continuity at all, then a problem exists with either the motor or cable . If it is go directly to the motor and disconnect from cable and check motor and the cable separately

We have done all that. The cable and switch are good. There is an internal problem with the motor I believe, perhaps a short or another issue.

Call an electrician or take the unit to a motor shop. Doesn't need to go to Becker.

I have taken the motor off before, very easy to do. find a electric motor shop and bring it to them. if they cannot fix it you will need a new motor. no need to send it to Becker!

We have Busch pumps and had one do the same thing. Ditto Eric, pulled motor and took to motor shop. They diagnosed and repaired for about $350. No issues since.
