I am building several vanities, and built in cabinets for my house. I have built cabinets before but mounted everything individually.
The next project will be a full kitchen so I want to get the system down.
I bought a Blum Minipress for not much money and have it setup as a 7 line drill.
I am trying to figure out what setback to use on the drill so that I can use the system holes to mount hinges and slides.
The cabinets are inset face frame. I am mounting the frames flush to the sides and treating them as frameless as I read elsewhere on this forum. The doors and drawer fronts will be 25mm and the face frames will be 26mm.
I am using 563H 21" slides and Blum 152744 hinges which have 0mm mounting plates (I think) for inset doors up to 1" thick. The Woodcraft package I bought for sample hinges doesn't give the exact base plate model.
What would be the common setback on the line bore so that I can use the same holes for both?
This would be the number minus the 26mm for the FF that I would drill in the plywood prior to adding the thickness of the frames on the finished box.
I have been looking at the instructions for both hinges and slides for a day or two and haven't quite figured it out.
Thanks for any help!
