Shaper cutters
10/6/15
I recently purchased a cmt head with insert knives and am wanting to get this rail and stile profile: SERIES: 8/900.624 which is available in router bits only as far as I can see. I have contacted CMT and they don't seem to have much if any knowledge about woodworking so explaining it is difficult. Is there any other brand of knives that fit the CMT head? Does anyone know what that profile is called? Also we have been purchasing regular steel knives for the shaper head and they get dull fairly quickly, wondering how much longer the carbide knives last and if you can have them sharpened?
