We presently are overstocked with cover sheets that come off lifts of material. Any ideas of what can be done to use the scrap up. I thought about cutting toe kicks out of it but i think the labour cost would outweigh material savings. Any other ideas?

Glen would you be using the toe kicks or just cutting them? If you would be actually using them how would the labor outweigh the material savings? Wouldn't you need material regardless therefore using free would be a savings and the labor is what it is or am I missing something?
Depending on quality, condition, thinckness, etc couldn't you build shop storage cabs, shelving, benches, carts, counters, etc etc out of it. It would also depend on your needs, maybe you already have your shop dialed in.
I work with a vendor who builds a raw prototype of everything the do. They waste lots of good PDB. Now I realize a sheet of 3/4" PBD is bery cheap but isn't free even cheaper.

I guess I blinked and missed part of that post. I was thinking of 4X8 sheets of heavy cardboard.
My mistake.

maybe I blinked... I'm use to our bunks (same as lifts?) coming with sheets of board covering them in addition to the cardboard. Adam.... which are you talking about?

I just made a set of cabinet door panels out of cover sheets. What wasn't good enough I cut around and took the scraps home for firewood. When I have cover sheets I cut them up as soon as possible, Some become cabinet backs and some decks in drawer banks, others become templates for odd shapes.
