Does anyone know of a small hinge similar to the salice or blum mini hinges (26mm cup) that have an integrated soft close? All other hinges on this job are soft close, so it would be nice to keep with that. Thanks.

If you cant find that particular hinge with an integrated soft close what about drilling a piston into the opposite side of the cabinet i.e "handle side". You can also get plastic housings for these that screw directly to cabinet.

Thanks. Looks like its going to have to be a separate unit. The narrow plunger with a holder seems like it will work (inset doors). All of the clip-on units that I've seen are not designed for use with the mini hinges.

Hey Kevin,
Hafele has a very nice wood holder for the Salice Smove that also has a magnet to help keep inset doors closed properly and lined up flush. Works well.

It's not likely that anyone will make the mini-hinge in soft close.
The mini hinge in general is sort of a dying breed. We used to produce millions for the RTA furniture industry before that all dried up and went to China. Now, the mini hinge is pretty much a small volume specialty item.
We still make it and keep them on the shelf but people choose it in those rare occasions where a 35mm cup is too big.
I did see a 26mm cup hinge in a closet system recently with soft close made in China...it worked like crap.
