I recently installed bamboo treads and hardwood in my house. I glued down the treads and had to predrill 6 finishing in each tread to hold them down for installation. I filled the holes with wood filler, sanded and stained to match. My big problem now is that I have 6 1x1" sanding marks in the UV factory clearcoat that I can not blend with anything I try. Even a matte polyethylene is just too glossy and stands out like a sore thumb. HELP!!

Next time, use PLUGS. Cut from spare board and with Drill Press.
Next time, make a sample board for testing.
Nothing will be close to a factory finish, especially one that was UV cured.
Last hope, try Glitsa in a spray can.
Test on a sample board.

Well that's a cluster......Something doesn't sound right. Why didn't you blind nail them? For that matter who told you to nail them on the face? The prefinished bamboo flooring I've come across is just glued down. You should never mess with a prefinished piece. Carpet would fix it. Or bust out the random orbital and re-finish your stair treads. But those factory finishes are baked on and would be a total mess. Or rip it up and do it right. Probably take less time and mess. I don't envy your predicament

I don't quite understand your post but I'll take a stab at it anyway.. is this the entire floor or just stair treds?...
I'm guessing stair treds, if so... did you just spot sand your fill areas?... if so, sand the whole tred with 400 grit on a RO and top coat the entire tred with a minimum of 2 coats of matte wb poly for floors. if this doesn't work add more coats until it does.
If this is the whole floor surface call a reputable hardwood floor contractor in your area to get the floor where you want the floor to be.
