I'm estimating a price for this table and I wanted to get and idea what someone would charge and see if I am in the right ballpark, it will be made out of maple.

What's allowed with the leg construction? Solid wood top, or veneer? Hard maple or soft maple? Finish schedule? Why not give us your estimate, and construction methods, and finish schedule, and we'll tell you if you are in the ballpark or not.

Ultimately you are the only person who can price this as overhead, living expenses, and material costs can and will vary greatly.
I could tell you how long I would take to build a similar piece but that has nothing to do with the amount of time it would take you to complete the project.
Figure out a reasonable timeframe to complete this project. Add in your wage, and overhead, and you have the minimum price that you need to charge. Compromise and go below this and you are cheating yourself.
If you have already priced this out my gut feeling is that you need to stick with that.If cost is an issue to begin with you will have to charge too little to get the work and you will only regret that decision later.

It greatly resembles a set of tables that were in Fine Woodworking magazine a few years ago. I seem to recall that three or four contributors did variations on this basic design.

On another note:
Who here would make a "table" with a leg-span depth of 8"?
Who would make a 36" all wood bench with a 6" width mating surface between the bench and the slab seat?
If this design was clearly speced as welded steel construction with wood veneer, would it enter into a different price category in your mind?
