Mold Materials that Glue Doesn't Stick To

Suggestions for materials that won't bond with yellow glue, for use in making molds. February 5, 2010

I am looking for a material that will not bond with yellow glue. I need to make a mold that I can glue wood around.

Glass, Corian, Formica, wax paper, sheet plastic, wood with a liberal coating of wax. I am sure people will come up with a slew of ideas.

If it's a narrow form, clear packing tape works well.

Stretch wrap.

I have used most all of the above, including waxed wood or MDF.

Melamine with wax is a very common mold.
