Does anyone know why Its possible for CV to drill shelf holes but not hinge plate holes?

You need to make sure that the hole diameter for the hinge plates matches your tool diameter exactly or it won't drill them.

I figured it out. My interior scribe was set to .031 instead of 0. The plate would have been in dead air..
