We have a Busellato Jet 2000 CNC whit Genesis 2.2
The machine has been running the same program since the company bought it.
It seems pretty archaic.
Is there another way to run it?
We draw with Auto CAD, then the machine operator re-draw manually line by line the design.
Can we export the geometry from dxf to Genesis? Or which other program can we use to generate the toolpath?

I have not ran a Buselato since 2007 but we used a program called AutoLink I think was the name, it was an addon to autocad that you specified the tool path info by the layer name and then 'posted' the program and it converted it to genesis. It worked well once you figured out what it wanted to know.
I do recommend that you look into parametric programming, if you master it, you won't need to draw a part at all except for a very weird one off custom. I had a few master programs written in genesis that I was able to enter the Length and Width and thickness of the blank and it would recalculate the program to do the operations I wanted without any other changes to the program. It is a very powerful feature of the machine.
There were also sub programs that you could make and save then import those into other programs. Ex: hinge holes, you can make a hinge hole program for a certain hinge pattern and save it, then import that into any other program, makes things very quick.

We currently run a busellato with Genesis and use AutoLink to convert CAD files to genesis.

If you bought the machine new it should have a licensed copy of AutoLink, which you can use to process DXF's into code. It's been years since I've used AutoLink, start at Auto Cut Research, the guy's name is Hal Wendt.
