New in the furniture business but not new to the craft. Artist (aka designer without a degree) since birth.

While they are a pain, I love to build side tables with hidden compartments. The hidden compartment varies piece by piece and its location is determined by the client.

Tough being a girl that plays with saws, nail guns, etc for fun but loving every minute of it.

My shop is small, 15x30 garage that I stole from my Tahoe. I use 2 old kitchen tables as my workspace, a custom pink - that's right, PINK, miter saw table built out of scrap MDF from a failed concrete countertop project (for me, not a customer!), and 2 warped sawhorses I use for painting large pieces.

I store most of my wood in the garage hoping that it will warp enough for my headboards.
