The overall design has a vaguely Stickley feel to it thought it wasn't really inspired by any particular Stickley piece as far as I know. The legs taper from both the side view and the front view as they go up and the line inlay is centered on the width top and bottom.
The drawer doesn't have a handle but there's room under the front to pull it out from below.
The drawer box is mounted only to the back panel as the client wanted it to appear to be floating in the center space.
The legs have line inlays of silver and copper with small silver and copper medallions top and bottom. It's amazing that you can see the grain in the metal in these closeup photos as it was sanded to 3000 grit.
There are two diamond shaped inlays, one in the top and one in the drawer front. Both have a Claro Walnut center piece. This is the one from the drawer front and the image is about 2 times the size of the inlay.
The top also has the same copper/silver/copper line inlay as the legs. The line inlay finished out at just about 1/4" wide. Finished with Conversion Varnish.
