Five foot Galley Rail Shelf

This is a Custom assembled spindle/galley rail shelf unit measuring 5 1/2" depth x 60" length x 7/8" thick, attached to 2 #1SB458CR Contemporary style shelf brackets w/rounded front edge, measuring 4 5/8" depth x 6" height x 7/8" thick, all assembled with a backplate w/countersunk holes and wood buttons to cover in addition to keyholes in back of the shelf brackets for hanging. This one was finished with a special mix of 1/2 Dark Walnut & 1/2 Red Oak stain wcoats of clear lacquer. After some people saw this on my website, I had to make several more exactly as shown as well as some in different stain colors. Note that these spindles are inserted directly in the shelf without using a bottom rail. I also installed a plate v-groove in some of them. All my products are made of highly renewable Southern Yellow Pine.
