I was looking for a zaney door design for my sister's salon and along comes an idea from our Scott and his wonderful River Series cabinet. The problem was how did he hold his doors together? So I thought about it and tapered my cuts to zero at the top and bottom so that I could hold it together with the loose slips. I may run a groove later at top and bottom to insert some steel! I'm coloring the glass now with some blue and yellow enamel mixed in to poly lacquer and will 'Everdure' treat the wood against the westerlies before gluing up with polyurethane glue. So this is the way I did it. I still don't know how Scott holds his doors together!
