This is a chest I made for my carving chisels. Essentially it's made of "left-over" wood from other work with the exception being the Alder used for the frame. The drawers are made of Bloodwood and although I wanted to use them as a dovetail exercise the wood was brittle and prone to splitting. Since I had a very limited amount decided to dowel them. The top of the chest features a carving of my favorite smooth plane which is stored under the lid.
