Real nice job Mike. The soffit is an interesting look. I am in the planning stages of a set of cabinets and was trying to get the "most" of the storage space and was thinking of adding height to the wall cabs - whether it is glass doors above or simply a single taller cabinet. Is there a downfall for my thinking? The ceiling height I have to work with is 8' on one wall and a 3/12 pitch vault on the other. Also I like the cherry. Can you share the finishing schedule you used? Again, nice job!

thanks, I don't think will have enough room in an 8' ceiling to divide the uppers, I would just goto the ceiling. we use ml campbell finish. stain, seal, sand 2 coats satin precat. lacuquer.
