Ten 2022 R-TECH load drop pallets for the transportation of CLT panels, timber framing and precast concrete panels. R-Tech is based in Austria and has been making specialized pallets for the transportation industry for years. The loader frames are new and unused. Constructed of heavy galvanized steel, each is rated for a maximum load of 20,000Kg / 44,000lbs. The individual pallets weigh 3575 lbs including the legs, middle stakes and base plates and measure 20’ L x 8’W x 7” D. Telescoping drop feet / legs pull out from the frame allowing the pallet to be pre positioned at a set height. This pre-set height / placement allows for a trailer to be backed under without additional loading assistance.
The pallet design allows for the loading and unloading of the transport frames, without:
- A truck with a driver having to wait.
- People under time pressure having to complete the loading and unloading process.
Cost optimization is achieved by reducing transport damage.
R-TECH transport frames increase production capacity because:
- Unnecessary intermediate storage in the production hall is not required.
- The Pallet frames can also be used as storage.
- Truck or rail transport can be carried out much more efficiently, as they are not constrained by waiting times for loading and unloading or.
- Load manipulation times by reloading and resizing can be avoided.
