Summary
As a Finishing QC Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our furniture products meet the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
-Communicating effectively in both English and Spanish to facilitate clear understanding and collaboration with team members.
-Conducting thorough inspections of furniture products to identify defects and deviations from quality standards.
-Maintaining detailed records of quality assessments and reporting findings to the Plant Manager
-Develop and maintain quality standards and check procedures throughout the facility.
-Supervise and manage hourly Quality Assurance Associates and their daily activities.
-Collaborating with production teams to address and rectify quality issues promptly.
Requirements
-Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a major plus.
-Strong organizational skills to manage and maintain detailed records.
-Previous experience (5+ years) in quality control or a related field is preferred.
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle defects in furniture products.
-Knowledgeable in wood touch-up systems: fill sticks, grain markers, & touch-up spray stain.
-Knowledgeable of cabinet / chair / upholstery manufacturing processes and physical characteristics of wood.
