Description
Microvellum Engineering: On site only in Rochester NY.
Important distinction, this is an engineering job, meaning that it's not just drafting plans & elevations, but actually engineering how things are built. Could be complex millwork or straight forward cabinets and counters. CAD-CAM shop, drawings contain data uploaded to shop machines.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience in a commercial architectural millwork
• Able to read and understand architectural drawings
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Drafting detailed, organized, scaled and annotated drawings
• Knowledge of architectural millwork raw materials
• General knowledge of construction industry
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Microvellum or CabinetVision
• Experience with MS Excel software
• Shop fabrication experience, CNC ops is a plus
• Purchasing, issuing POs and interacting with vendors
