Project Manager
Millwork Solutions, Inc., a fast-growing commercial casework and millwork company is looking for a qualified Project Manager to join our team
Summary:
The Project Manager will provide an overall management to multiple varies size commercial millwork projects from start to completion, making sure each project is completed to the customer’s satisfaction, on time and within the budget.
Some of the Project Manager’s duties are:
• Analyze bids and scope of work & familiarize yourself with the project with Estimator.
• Develop and implement plan reflecting Millwork Solutions and customer schedule that takes into consideration all the constraints, shop capability, constructability issues and installation challenges.
• Monitor progress at the job site for every stage of the project.
• Represent Millwork Solutions management to customers and suppliers.
• Schedule all phases of the process in scheduling software.
• Take field measurements when job site is verified to be ready.
• Manage drawing and material submittal process, providing guidance to the drafters.
• Review of approved shop drawings and approved material samples for any changes and notes.
• Source specialty materials/processes as required.
• Perform job site visits and act as a liaison between the customer and production.
• Formulate Requests for Information (RFI), monitor Change Proposals and Change Orders.
• Coordinate project installations with Installation Manager and project’s Superintendent.
• Communicate in a professional manner with all company management/employees.
Desired qualifications and Skills:
• Customer oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Min. 3 years of experience working in commercial architectural millwork industry
• Knowledge of CBC, ADA, FSC, LEED, WI standards
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with MS Office and Bluebeam
• Understanding of architectural drawings
