We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Shop Foreman/Production Manager to oversee daily operations in our Gaithersburg facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwork production, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
- Manage and lead a team of skilled craftsmen and production staff.
Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure continuous development.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production schedules to meet project deadlines.
Ensure efficient workflow and optimal utilization of resources.
- Maintain high standards of quality across all products and processes.
Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
Oversee maintenance and proper operation of machinery and equipment.
