Sr. Estimator Architectural Millwork (Not Remote)
North Carolina
Salary: 85-100K, excellent benefit package and relocation assistance if needed.
Company is seeking a talented and experienced sales and marketing professional leveraging existing relationships and a strong knowledge of interior jobsite construction. This position will be instrumental in the long-term development and leadership of the architectural millwork division and will report directly to the CEO.
This position will expand business opportunities through existing relationships and cultivate new relationships with general contractors and other key decision makers to drive sales that meet or exceed company gross margin targets primarily in the Midwest market.
Responsibilities include:
Identify business opportunities with new and existing customers.
Cultivating strong relationships with key customers in the region.
Implementing strategies to achieve sales targets.
Collaborating with business development team members to develop divisional sales and marketing strategy.
Gathering input and trends through, vendors and other stakeholders (e.g., architects, tangential trade partners, etc.).
Maintain quality relationships with key customers by engaging and communicating in a prompt and professional manner.
Identify and qualify leads on projects, general contractors, construction managers, architects that will drive profitable growth.
Build trusting relationships to gain competitive advantage on upcoming projects, bids, budgets, timing and key issues to further position the company for success
Oversee communication and customer expectations on new client opportunities
Professionally organize, prepare and present bid packages and schedules
Onboard new clients and successfully transition a hand off to Client/Project Management while remaining the customer sponsor
Represent the company at industry meetings and events, as needed.
Qualifications:
7+ years experience in sales/business development in the General Contractor and/or Architectural Millwork arena particularly in the USA region
BA/BS degree or equivalent Experience working in the construction or manufacturing industry
Proven track record of successfully increasing revenue through a strong ability to sell and develop new business
Strong reputation and relationships in target markets
Knowledge of industry & insight into industry trends
Understanding of technical scope of job site plans, drawings, field dimensions, and other specifications critical to project success
Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
Proven ability to articulate and negotiate the distinct aspects of products and services
Excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level and customers
Experience in Estimating a plus
