CAD Designer / Design Engineer - Custom Cabinets
Location: Bluffton, SC
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Job Overview:
Litchfield Custom Cabinetry is looking for a CAD Designer to join our Engineering team. You値l work closely with our shop and project managers to create detailed mechanical and architectural drawings for custom cabinets and more. We handle both residential and commercial projects, so you値l need to be resourceful and skilled in design. You値l also participate in design reviews with project managers, take feedback, and apply it to your work.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed designs and drawings based on instructions
Learn and use CabinetVision design software
Use your judgment to interpret design data, improve designs, and ensure smooth operation
Track project status and update the manager on progress and challenges
Meet deadlines for job quotes, production, and installations
Handle other tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
1+ year of experience with design programs like AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, Catia, or CabinetVision. Recent graduates (Georgia Tech, SCAD, etc) with internship/in-school experience will also be considered.

Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and organization
Positive, team-oriented mindset
Experience in CNC programming or cabinet making/installation is a major plus
Proficiency with standard PC software
Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, but some work in the shop or on local job sites may be required. You値l follow drafting guidelines, conduct design reviews, and communicate project schedules and priorities with management. Occasionally, extra hours or Saturday work may be necessary based on workload.
Required Experience: At least 1 year in a related field. Recent graduates with internship/in-school experience will also be considered.
