Summary
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee and drive the operations of our woodworking shop. The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business, from strategic planning to daily operations, ensuring the achievement of financial and operational goals while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
-Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
-Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure quality control, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
-Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and growth targets in the wood industry.
-Oversee daily operations of the wood shop, including management of staff, equipment, and resources.
-Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion and innovation.
-Lead and mentor a team of managers and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
-Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement in production processes and workflow.
-Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and ensure cost control measures are in place.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations, legal requirements, and environmental standards.
Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management & stakeholders.

Requirements
-Minimum of 7 years of management experience in the wood industry or related fields, with a proven track record of success.
-Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in a woodworking or millwork environment.
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
-Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive operational improvements.
-Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
-Proficiency in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
