I have a small one man wood shop in Lower Westchester, with a few years of hands-on experience in woodworking and CNC operations (Mach3) (V-Carve), but looking for the next opportunity utilizing the skills gained in more of a production setup. I have mostly worked extensively with a 4' x 8' Avid CNC machine, gaining proficiency in programming, machine setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality output. I have experience working with different types of wood, understanding their unique characteristics and how best to utilize CNC technology to achieve precise cuts and designs.
Beyond my technical expertise, I have a strong interest in production planning and process optimization. I believe that effective planning not only enhances operational efficiency but also maximizes resource utilization and minimizes waste. I would love to contribute my insights into improving workflow, scheduling, and project management, helping the company meet both production targets and business goals.
I am looking for an opportunity in and around Lower Westchester or lower Fairfield, CT which will eliminate a long commute. Thanks.
